ISDN Configuration wizard

Everytime Windows boots up,I get this message
NO ISDN DEVICES FOUND.PLEASE INSTALL AND RUN ISDN
CONFIGURATION WIZARD AGAIN.I have absolutely no
idea how it got there.I am using a 56k modem.
Any help appreciated.

Try Control Panel, dialup networking. Right click dial up networking, then click propoerties. Go to the General tab and see what your connection is. I t sould be 56k modem.

Try typing the error into Google and you will find several possible reasons - including a possible virus.

Actually, thing about the message a bit more, I seem to remember this rearing it's ugly head before.

If I remember correctly, just go to Start - Run, type MSCONFIG, select the STARTUP tab and disable the call for the ISDN wizard to run.
