i have Norton Antivirus and Firewall installed and when i was playing GTA 3 this alert pop up and said a remote address wants access to my Isass.exe file. it said it was low risk but i didn't trust it just in case so i block it. but could any one tell me what the isass.exe is use for and should any remote address have access to it?

I think it is Lsass.exe

Windows NT4/2000/XP only. LSASS is the Local Security Authentication Server. It verifies the validity of user logons to your PC/Server (in technical jargon : it generates the process that is responsible for authenticating users for the Winlogon service).

Recommendation :
An integral part of the operating system, leave alone.

I wouldn't allow access to it!
