IrDA wirless bridge between HP laptop/Canon BJC 85

Have installedIrDA wireless bridge between the HP Compaq nx6110 laptop and the Canon BJC 85 printer.

The message which comes is "Wireless link interrupted.Your link is either blocked or the device has moved out of range."

Yet the wireless bridge and printer in direct line and within inches of each other.

The USB Kingsun SF-620 InfraRed USB adapter has its own driver software which the BJC-85 is also using its own driver.

Many thanks for any assistance.

Kind regards

The two IR devices shouldn't be too close or you can get problems with overload. Also, fluorescent lights can interfere with Ir if that should be relevant.
