iPlayer to TV

I have downloaded a tv program using BBc iPLayer. Is it possible to convert this to a form (ie dvd) so that I can watch the program on my TV.

The only way to do this would be to strip the file from DRM (Digital Rights Management) first.

Hi I am also interested in doing this but what do you mean ArrGee? Sorry if that's a silly question!

The programmes you download from BBC for iPlayer are time-coded, meaning that you have up to 30 days to watch them after download.

This time-coding is part of the Digital Rights Management which does not allow you to watch after 30 days and also does not allow you to burn to DVD or convert to other formats.

I can't be too specific here, but if you were to Google 'Strip DRM', then you can find ways of removing the DRM from the download, which will then allow you to convert and burn to DVD.

Oh, and also check the iPlayer terms and conditions before embarking on any DRM stripping, as I believe it is not legal to do so.
