I have a replacement v high spec Vostro 1510 laptop from Dell [big problems with original, delivered September] and am trying to set up wi-fi. I have a BT Home Hub and use XP Pro as operating system [don't know if this is relevant - I'm the No 1 technophobe]. Paid £60 to have my original one set up but as Dell won't pay this to get my replacement working am trying to do myself. I get as far as the Dell Wireless WLAN card utility window and seem to have a problem with the IP Address. Tried to repair this but it tells me the action could not be completed and to refer to the person who manages my network [that's me - I'm a one-man-band] Help! Can anyone advise me how to fix this. I am reluctant to pay another £60 to get an expert out when it was Dell's equipment that caused this problem! Thanks!
