IP address

when I Google my IP address I get one result but if i use the command prompt Ipconfig I get something completely different.Anyone any idea why this should be and which is the correct address.

your isp might have you behind a 'nat' firewall in that the ip address shown publicly is false and the machine operates safely behind it?
