I have Windows XP (home edition) and a broad band connection. How do I go about finding my allocated IP address when connected to my server ?

Start, Run, type in

cmd

and click OK

At the prompt type

ipconfig /all

and press Enter

Right click on the icon (2 monitors) click details the ip address is shown on the details page.
