Iv been having problems with my internet connection timing out for about a month now and i cant work out what the hell is causing it. Essentially if you visit a site you can sit around for a few mins and get a timeout message or the more annoying trying to download a file and getting the thing cutout after a second or two so you can inaging the problems of trying to download a file of a few meg when you constantly get cut off after 600k ish!

I am running windows xp pro with kaspersky internet security 7.0 and have a belkin router and my isp is talktalk.

All help and ideas will be very much apreciated!

Make sure that 'Disconnect if idle for xx minutes' and 'Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed' are NOT ticked.
