Can anyone tell me how a friend can stop her young children accessing irrelevant sensative sites on the internet. She wants her kids to be able to browse the internet without the obvious kind of adult pages appearing. Any suggestions? Cheers.

almost all firewalls will provide parents with password protected options for parental control.

Norton internet security 2006 with ghost and go-back about £49 - £54

Also well worth it:
ad-aware - free
spybot - free
aol antispyware - free
microsoft antispyware [beta] - free
