  GANDALF <|:-)> 17:18 11 Jan 2003

Knee-jerk reaction from a bunch of sad people trying to make their empty, couch potato, lives-in-a-can-of-cheap-lager, more important. Total sympathy to him. It speaks a lot about his integrity and volumes about their lack of intelligence. They were all ready to condemn but I'll warrant none had the courage to apologise.

and must investigate all crimes fully.

However this does not excuse their standoffish attitude and a full apology should be made with appropriate amounts of contrition, I am sorry to hear of the damage done and the police should put this right without the need for legal action and a community officer should be appointed to pass the correct and accurate information is passed directly to the individuals in the community, their responsibility is not just to protect children (justified as it is) but also to protect william and ensure his quality of life is not detracted from also, my thoughts are with you and I hope you feel you can stand proud, because you can here.

Gandalf

"That would be the sad people trying to make their empty, couch potato, lives-in-a-can-of-cheap-lager, more important" who since 1969 have
won 16 George Medals (the highest award for civilian bravery), 103 Queen's Gallantry Medals, 111 Queen's Commendations for Brave Conduct and 69 Queen's Police Medals. Who in the 25 years between 1969 and 1994 had 195 R.U.C. officers and 101 R.U.C. Reserve officers murdered and over 7000 injured.

You're derisive and vindictive postong are an insult to the lives of all who serve in Northern Ireland. You should be ashamed......but won't be.

This forum is meant to help with computer problems, not to get involved with the rights & wrongs of the British police or judicial system.

I totally agree with you rawprawn.

But in this case Gandalfs comment was so vicious and uncalled for a reply was necessary. I will say no more.

I think that GANDALF <|:-)> when he says;

"Knee-jerk reaction from a bunch of sad people trying to make their empty, couch potato, lives-in-a-can-of-cheap-lager, more important."

means the people who REPORTED this man to the Police and not to the Police who had the job of trying to uphold the justice and laws of this fine country of ours.

As there are far to many sad and lonely people out there who if they take a dislike to you for what ever reason will set out to cause as much distress and upset as possible to you and your family for often little or no reason, but mearly to give them some sort of self satisfaction or enjoyment to their sad bitter existence.

it is a subject that will cause 'Knee-jerk reactions',mainly from concerned parents.

maybe the media should concentrate on reporting convictions rather than raids.

  bremner 18:43 11 Jan 2003

If that is the case then I offer an unreserved apologise to Gandalf.
