The Internet is not always cheaper

I needed to purchase some Suspension Folders for the office, and we normally use Staples or Viking.

As I had to visit town on something else, I decided to call in my local Office Supplier.

Viking was 17.99 (50)
Staples was 19.99 (50)
My local office supplier 12.99 (50) and in stock

All the same product.

Try your local first, you may be suprised.

Is help room really the best place for this? Its still common sense to check shop proces as well.

Maybe the Helproom isn't the best place for this but probably Terry was only trying to be helpful.

It's obvious that local can be cheaper as local don't have to ship out!!!

"Not always the case !"

CAN in my sentence being the operative word.

You have made a pertinent point Terry.

As long as your local supplier is not twenty miles away, and it's late on Saturday!

I have never found local suppliers to be cheaper and based on past performance, I don't intend to spend any time finding out.

Gandalf

I expect you will be one of the first people to complain when your local shops close!!.

As the old saying goes "If you don't use it- you will lose it".
