Thanks to Firefox i am able to type this question. I have a problem with internet explorer 7 and i cannot type any text into web page search bars ,also i cannot type text into my email main space.
Can anyone tell me if there is a way that it may have turned scripting off ,if not ,is there any way of uninstalling explorer and then reinstalling it.

This problem is driving me round the bend!

Go to add/remove and IE7 should be listed; uninstall, and it'll go back to v6. You may have to reboot, then reinstall v7.

Thanks for your response but i have no choice to delete IE7 in add remove programs. This is a strange problem ,i wander if someone could explain to me why i can type text into Firefox but not into other web browsers ,like explorer 7 and Avant browser.
I can type into the browser bars at the top of the page to open a web page but once a page is openen and i scroll down to a search bar on that page ,i cannot enter text.

My email will not work either.

This is confusing!

In Add/Remove programs it should be listed as Windows Internet Explorer 7.

Could there be a setting thats been changed to not allow text to be entered?

See if IE7 is listed with the Windows Installer Cleanup utility then you can delete to reinstall click here;en-us;290301

Ok ,i just got the file from the link you gave me and when i tried to install it ,i get a message from windows script host saying:

script:
c:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\Temp\IXP000.TMP\StartMsi.vbs

line: 17
Char: 1
Error; Permission denied
Code: 800A0046
Source: Microsoft VBScript runtime eror.

Any ideas what this might mean?

It sounds like you've got some system files corrupted. Go to RUN and type in sfc /scannow (note space).
