Internet Explorer 7.0 - Windows Vista

When using the above software, if I follow a link that opens a new page either within the browser (Tab) or a new window Internet Explorer completely stops, the original window will continue to function after a short time however the new window that has been opened will not. If i manually open a new Tab or Window and key a web address this continues to work, it is only when you follow a shortcut/hyperlink.

I have tried the following already:

Reset IE Settings,
Checked all add ons
Checked for any abnormal spyware
Run NAV for any viruses etc.

All help will be much appreciated!

Turn Norton off briefly and try again,possible firewall setting needs changing.

Maybe reregistering;

Re-register urlmon.dll
From Start> Accessories> Command prompt > and type exactly the below,better still copy and paste.

regsvr32 urlmon.dll

If this fails,try running SAS = click here your computer maybe infected with something that Norton missed.
