Internet Explorer 7- where is 'find' button?

  sheila.weston 17:13 28 Nov 2006

I have downloaded IE 7 and can't find the 'Find' option - for looking for a specific word on a web page.

Thanks as always.

On the "search" bar top right next to the magnifying glass symbol is a pull down arrow. Find is in the pull down options.

good point!

It's available via the edit menu, or Ctl+F, but I can't find a button either!

Or right click Toolbar, tick Menu bar. Edit > Find.

To the right of the address bar, beyond refresh and in the corner below the red X close button.

Greengage, I do not think everyones is the same. Mine is further on to the right just past a magnifying glass icon

Many thanks, all. I've found it, but CTL + F seems the easiest option.

As a matter of interest, where is the 'edit' menu?

Right click Toolbar, tick Menu bar.

That's better! I hadn't got the menu bar showing.
All sorted now.

click here to put the menu bar at the top where it belongs.
