Internet Explorer 7

I have upgraded to IE7 and note that some pages take 2 or 3 seconds to close, is this a feature of IE7 or is there a fix? Thanks.

birdface 10:26 22 Jan 2008 here Just something to browse through until you get proper help.Having read a few of them it looks as though Firefox is a lot quicker.I have used Firefox before,But preferred IE7.But might just change back again as I find it a bit slow.I thought maybe it was my computer,But not sure.

Thanks Buteman for coming to my help. I have had a good read and as an experiment, have reverted my laptop back to IE6. What a pleasure much better than IE7 in my opinion. Have also blocked auto update re IE7. Will sort desktop next.

Thanks again.

Yes it could have been a few things,Add-Ons Phishing Filter whatever. As long as you are content on IE6 stay with it.You are not alone.

You could always try the Add on IE7 Pro which amongst many other things claims to make browsing faster

buteman. Thanks again. IE6 for me is ok.

Sea Urchin. Thanks for that. Only seems to add a few bells & whistles. Doesn't speed shut down.
