Internet Explorer 6 Web Page Problems

  redbarron 16:01 15 Jul 2008

Since I uninstalled some PC clean up software (AWC2) all web pages show up wrong.

Everything is all wrong with text and images. Everything is far larger than it should be and situated to the left of the screen.

I done a restore from the AWC2 software before deleting it, but it made no difference. Outlook Express is fine.

In IE try going to 'View/Text Size' and change to medium.

Failing which, try a system restore (if possible) to a point when things were OK.

I'd recommended IE7 click here (for XP/Server 2003 only) too. G

Thanks for the reply.

View/Text size is already set at medium.

Tried system restore but it would not restore even though I turned Norton AV off.

Any more advice welcome. Thanks.

Thanks for the info.

Personally I don't like IE7. I have tried the web reset option, but that didn't work either.

Installed Internet Explorer 7.

Guess I'll just have to get use to it. No other option.
