Internet Explorer

How can you tell which version of I.E. is on your PC? (We use Windows 98). If I find that there is now a newer version of I.E. how do I put it onto my PC? The PC I want to put it on is not yet connected to the internet. Can I do it using another PC and copying files onto a floppy?
If I have to wait until I am connected to the internet - then how do I upgrade?

The latest current version is IE6, but the second beta of IE7 is available for download. You do however need XP or 2003 Server to use it.

IE 6 will work on Win98.

When you have yor connection you can download and install up to IE6 from the Microsoft site.

When Internet Explorer is running - click on Help on the top toolbar. Now click on About from the drop down menu. This will tell you which version of IE you have
