  Gladiator 16:16 24 Mar 2007

I am using Dell Dimension,BT Broadband,Ethernet connection. I have two internet connections ie
Local Area 100Mbps connected and working
1394 Adaptor 400Mbps connected but not working.
Properties for the 1394 connection shows no details and Repair answers TCP/IP not enabled. What steps do I need to take to activate My Broadband to the line maximum

I'm not sure how slow your connection is but 100Mbps (100 Meg) is much faster than you can expect from any home broadband connection, the highest currently available from BT Broadband being 8 Meg I believe.

The 1394 adapter is a firewire connection for transferring data e.g. from a DV camcorder.

Why do you think it's slow, have you performed a speedtest? What were the results?
