Internet connection via router

I have been using talk talk broadband via a std broadband modem successfully. Have bought a D Link wireless ADSL router and have now connected two laptops wirelessly and my desk via a network cable to the router. I am successfully sharing files and printer, but I am not connecting to Talk talk. Everytime I try and use Mozilla or IE they want to use my dial up connection. How do I pursuade them to use the network connection via the router?

In "Control Panel > Internet Options", select the Connections tab and make sure "Never dial a connection" has been selected.
