Internet connecion has started to cut off?

Suddenly my broadban has started to cut off after prolonged periods of time. Never had any problems before, any ideas what i should look for or troubleshoot?

In Device Manager, check the modem Power Management is not set to 'allow the computer to turn off this device'.

Also check your ISP is not disconnecting you due to inactivity.

indio run a spyware scan using spybot search and destroy and adaware both these programs are FREE and advised by every sane computer user the links are below note these programs are free and any site asking for monies is scamming you

dont forget to update them before use

if it aint spyware buggering up your connection
id do a full reinstall to start
uninstall your modem then reinstall it
if this fails do a phone line check ,the number should be on you telephone services web page
to check tht your phone line is in order ie no interference if it is a crackley line ask then to sort it out
still not fixed get intouch with your isp provider and they should trouble shoot from here on in
