internet access numbers

The charity I work for is using AOL to connect to the internet using an 0808 telephone number but we are being billed for using the number 08457 576333 which is costing us a fortune. Does anyone know who this number belongs to or why it is happening or how I can stop it happening.

There is a possibilty that there is another 3rd party dialler set up in the DIAL Up for you network settings & Ie settings. Possibly something rougue ?. And charging you £1.50 per minute.

it seems you are using BT ClickFree (08457 576333) which will be pay by the minute

for some reason you have your dialup settings are set to dial bt instead of aol to change this do the following

open internet explorer and click tools (at the top) ,internet options (options)and then click the connection tab

highlight aol (the one you want to use) then click set default then put a mark next to always dial my default connection then click apply
