I have a pc in an upstairs room. Them main router is located downstairs. I have been having issues where the internet either times out, or it tells me it cannot connect to my main site. I am using Virgin internet, they have sent me a new router. I connected this up this morning, and hey presto. Great internet speed. However, given an hour or so, and exactly the same issue reoccurs. I have reset the router, and it works for for a short while, and again the same issue. I have, reformatted the PC, run virus checker and malware regularly - has anyone got any idea what the issue is?? I laymans terms please - I am not that Tech savvie. Many thanks Taff

Both should be ticked as older equipment can only use the 2.4Ghz frequency.

Thanks for all the advice, I have no idea why, but the problem seems to have rectified itself??? I will keep the above in mind for future reference. Many thanks Taff
