Internal Virus Database is out of date

I keep getting a balloon pop up saying, Internal Virus Database is Out of Date To Finnish update close down, and restart PC. I click on AVG and get the message (Update unsuccessful.) I checked when it was last updated and it was on the 26 Jan 06. Is it unsuccessful because it doesn't need to be updated? I can also see AVG Anti virus 7.1.371 might be out of date. In the Security Center box, I see Firewall On Automatic updates On, but Virus Protection says Out Of Date. When I click on Automatic Updates it tells me it is updated every day. If you can make sense of this. Do I have anything to worry about?

Did the problem resolve itself when you reset your computer?

No. I keep going over the same, Internal virus database is out of date. It keeps coming up with the same messages, but it is programed to update every day, and the next update check is scadualed on 2nd February.

Check your system clock is correct - especially the year.

Right click on the clock > Adjust Date/Time

Have a look at the AVG Control Center, it should tell you when it was last updated and when the next is due.

Also look at the lower right of the Test Center, I think (correct me if I`m wrong people) the first of the three boxes shows the current update number. I updated today and mine is currently 7.1.375.

The clock and date are correct. In AVG control center it tells me my Internal virus is out of date.
