My 15" TFT monitor has developed an intermittent yellow tinge to the white parts (it seems to be affected more often than not now). I thought at first it might be due to magnets in speakers, but moved them without any effect.

Any thoughts?

TFT monitors are virtually immune to magnetic effects. Yellow tint is caused by lack of blue colour. This can be caused by crushing the video cable, my computer suffers from this due to the base unit being pushed against the wall. Try flexing the cable, or if the cable is plugged in at both ends, try a new cable.

Thanks, Gongoozler, will certainly give it a try (sounds like it just might be the problem!)
