Hi,im working on an intel pc, it had it´s power supply broken and I changed it, now it turns on but no device is detected on sata ports, I tried all them, I reseted CMOS, tred as AHCI and IDE, legacy and native. The disks spins and works on other motherboards, also the cdrom which is not detected in the Intel, all capacitors seem ok, I´m sure its not a hardware problem but mine,I worked 8 years as pc technician years ago, I can´t believe I cant deal with this and im sure its something stupid, does someone have an idea?.

in the standard cmos menu should list sata 1 to 6.

select the sata port your hard is connected to and .

set to "Auto". this should let the system auto detect your hard drive.

if all else fails, set all the ports to auto, one of them should show your hard drive.

checked the "Boot Device Selection" for your hard drive, in the Advanced Bios section.

Also there is a sub menu for each sata port from the Standard cmos menu,

it may not auto detect until you enter the sub menu for the desired sata port.
