Hi I have been looking at intel cpus for a while and I have been wondering what one to buy because I know that a lot of people say intels core 2 duo series is very good but the E4300 is about £100 and it is 1.8ghz with an 800mhz fsb where as a intel pentium d 945 is 3.4ghz with a 800 mhz fsb for about £100 as well so witch is better as the tecknology is suposte to be better in the core 2 duo. Thanks any help appreciated Thanks Alan

You need to know what CPU your Motherboard will take, You cannot just stick any CPU in it

they announce their price cuts on the 22nd April. It's possible then that you may be able to afford a better one. ;o) TC.
