Intel Core Solo T1300 Processor

This is being used in Aldi's new Medion notebooks.

Is it as good as the Intel Centrino Duo used in Dell laptops.

Also what's the difference between a notebook and a laptop.

solos are basically the same as what centrinos were a few months ago. Not nearly as good as duo for multitasking and as far as I am aware for power use. Depending what you want to do the solo will do for general use but any hard core computing it is ill advised.

Notebook = laptop to some
however notebooks is often applied to any laptops that are under a4 in size (the base area). Depends who you ask as to the definition. There is no clear cut definition.
