Integrated Sound Video

I have just recommended a computer to a friend which suits his budget. They only use the computer for Basic internet, E-Mail, Word & Excel and have some programme for their photographic slideshow. The computer is a Dell P4 2.8 Ghz. with 512MB memory. My only reservation is that I noticed the Integrated Video rather than a dedicated graphic card. They do everything they need on their old Dell Windows98 so I can't see there being a problem - would someone reassure & explain INTEGRATED to me.

Many thanks

Integrated - built into the motherboard, fine for the it's expected use.

Integrated means it is built into the motherboard rather than being a dedicated card - either sound or graphics. For what you want, it is perfect.

I presume it is "Intel extreme"? If so, it is not extreme but adequate but I don't suppose the marketing bureau would let them advertise as such!
