I have a pc which has been formated to take Windows XP,however, as my unit has two drives I want to know how to install Windows on both. At the start up screen when I insert the XP CD, I am given several options as to where to load the O/S and initialy I opted for the larger of the two drives and left the other drive formated. Once loaded all is fine but the other drive no longer shows on screen. I know that it is a basic error but I could do with a little help please

I'm no expert, but you should not have to install XP on both drives.

When you say that the other drive no longer shows on screen, do you mean that you cannot see it using windows explorer (as drive D for example)?

Have you tried using the control panel's add new hardware function. This just might make the other drive viewable.
