Go to the web site of the manufacturer of the new harddrive and you should find some downloadable utilities for copying contents from one to the other then download click here and goto tools reset configureation which will remove motherboard drivers and install mobo drivers for new board. this will only work as you are using ME it will not work for NT based systems ie win 2000 or XP

Sorry that should have read reset hardware configuration

Strawballs and Surfmonkey

Thanks for the comments - the old hard drive is inoperable, I only have the authenticity code for ME on the old case?

Any other ideas / thoughts?

If the Old Drive will not work, It looks like you will have to buy a new OS

If you have the code then all you need to do is borrow a ME CD and input the code.

The code is the license
