I have been looking to upgrade my Graphics card and a friend has suggested i buy the GeForce 7800 GS OC which will cost me £150.
I would like to install this myself to save the extra £30 the store is asking for installing it for me.
For info i am running on Windows XP Pro.
Existing card is a Radeon 9600 Pro.
Motherboard is a Gigabyte K8 Triton NForce 3.

I think i know how to do it but can i please have some confirmation that i am doing this correctly :-

First i must uninstall the old drivers by going to Controll Panel -> System -> Device Manager. Were i will unistall all the existing drivers.
Then i will switch off and replace the card.
Then switch on and install new drivers.

Please advise me if this is the correct method for installing my new graphics card.

Than you for your advice in advance.
