installing a graphics card

I have a Dell Dimension 2300 and have been given a PCI graphics card. My dell has a video controller, an intel integrated AGP graphics. The specification indictates an expansion bus, types pci, 120 pins, four pci connectors. Is it possible to fit this card?

The card is just regular PCI (not PCI express) is it?

If so, it should be ok to fit it but whether or not there will be an advantage is hard to tell.

I am afraid it is PCI Express as far as I can tell
from the box

Do you know if the PC has PCI Express slots?

If your motherboard has an integrated AGP Graphics chip it will not have a PCI Express slot.

I think from all answers I am out of luck with this freebie, many thanks for all responses. I try to find a good home for someone who can use the card.
