Installing Game

I am trying to install a game called Indy Car but I keep gettting the following error message has anyone any ideas......Error 1305 Error reading from file K/programme files/ codemaster/cars/ir/8_16/irl tx2 verify that the file exists and that you can access it.I have tried two DVD Writers including my external one without any joy.Any help appreciated.

folloe thread carefully it will give you some things to try.
It seems to be a permission issue there is a fix for that in the link...

your disc either scratched of mucky

smear on fairy liquid lightly rub with fingers
rinse under warm tap/in washing up bowl(not hot water as it can warp the disc) leave to dry on draining board

OK. Create a new folder on the desktop. Name it anything you want.

Insert the game disk.

Cancel the auto setup.

Go to 'my computer' and open the D: drive, where the game is.

Copy all the files in the D: drive (all game files) and paste them into the folder you created on the desktop.

Now it should work.

Doing this saves the disk to the Hard drive and instead of installing the game from disk it installs it from the hard drive.
