Installing additional versions of Windows 98 SE

  SLOW-LANE 10:27 26 Jan 2003

I remember reading an article in PC Advisor about installing additional versions of Windows so that each one could ne configured to best suit what you are doing. This followed an article the previous month that suggested that unused fonts should be removed because they slowed gaming down. The idea therefore, was that if you wanted to do word processing you would boot into a version of windows that contained lots of fonts and if you wanted to play a game you would choose the appropriate version and so on.
Can any body advise please which issues contained these articles as I cannot find them?

Can't help you with the the mag, but type 'dual-boot Windows'or 'multi-boot Windows' into Google and you'll get far more information than would be contained in magazine articles.

Lots of us multi-boot on here so if you have particular queries you're guaranteed to find specific assistance.
