Installation of Multiple Operating Systems

Have put together the hardware of my PC. I wish to install a number of operating systems e.g. Win98, Win2000, WinXP & Linux. Using PowerQuest Boot Magic to switch between them on bootup. Should I partition the hard drive into, C D E F & them install the Operating Systems on each in turn, or should just create C drive & let each OS do the partitioning / formatting during the installation process??

You do not need a partition for Linux leave it while last and just leave free space for linux to install to, it will do all the work for you

Sounds like you may need this:

If you don't go for hyperOS as above, then be sure to install the oldest first of all:

win98

then win2k

then XP

Those three will go on easily.

Most Linux will also install pretty well afterwards.

YEs, create the partitions first of all - otherwise they will install one over the other.
