Installation - MS Laser Desktop 6000

  Petminder 11:58 07 Jul 2007

I have just bought the above and tried to install on Vista using the CD. I was led to the MS site to download the vista software which has installed the keyboard fine but the mouse is not responding at all, so I am now using a wireless laser keyboard which is brill! and have to use the old PS2 mouse. Any ideas thanks because I like the look and feel of the mouse and would like to use it.

Which plugs into your ps2 or usb ports have a button on it (the mouse should have one too) Pressing the button on the sender, and then on the mouse and keyboard should connect them. If not and as you say the keyboard is working, suspect flat batteries in the mouse or a faulty unit.
