Are you trying to plug them in whilst the computer is switched on? If so do not , have them pluged in first.

What make is it?

What are it's specifications?

What OS does it run?

When did this start to happen and what happened immediately before this started?

When you turn it on - do you get any "beeps"? If so how many?

There is obviously a fault somewhere. Does the pwer light come on on the monitor?

What make is it? It is a Dell

What are it's specifications? 192mb ram, 10Gb hard drive, and so on...

What OS does it run? Windows 2k

When did this start to happen and what happened immediately before this started? After i turned it on then off over time.

When you turn it on - do you get any "beeps"? If so how many? No

button.

It sounds like a PSU problem as there are no POST beeps.

Have you ever opened a PC before?

Yes i have

Is that they frequently use "Non" generic items in their PC's.

Please wait until someone else confirms this, but I think that "No POST beep" means a failed PSU.

You say "1 of my computers" in your preamble. I suggest that you examine the PSU in the Dell and the PSU in a PC of as near similar vintage as you have available. If they are the same/similar, you may be able to pick one up from PC World.

If they are not I doubt that Dell will have any supplies for such an old PC. If they have, they are likely to be pricey as they tend to charge a fortune for spares.
