Anyone used "Ink Saver " software?
If so, is it any good?

I've got Inksaver 2 on my PC, but I cannot yet assess it's value. I've just inserted a new cartridge so it, hopefully, will be some time before I can.
Have you got the software or are you thinking about getting it?

These 'ink saver' programs don't safe any more ink than if you set the printer to run in draft mode. When you think about it, how could they?

Ink sever can save it- because it enables variable delivery- as opposed to draft mode where you ged goor or bad[or even bad and worse ;-) ]
Ink Saver has the slider and does vary the flow,
Another way to save ink when printing full colour photo's and the like is to ignore the paper type selector and go for 'Ink jet Tranparancy
This too will reduce the ink flow and gives rise to brighter images on gloss or matt paper.

Thanks for the tip about Ink Jet Transparency. Good one.

bluto1,Snec, and jack.
Thanks for your helpful comments. My thoughts were in line with yours, abd it doesn't seem worth spending money on it. I do buy my carts (Jet-Tec ) very cheaply and they are superb.
Thanks again,
