  algo mas 18:56 19 Jan 2008

I'm buying a printer for my daughter.

As I was surfing I came across a website that sold epson ink [and others] but their cartriges had removable chips. When you finished with the cartrige you placed it on a full cartrigde.
Unfortunatly i could not find it again!!!

Can anyone help please?

I have seen these advertised on some sites, however the chances of getting a chip in the right place to make it work. and you would still need to get an unchipped cartridge to put it on.

There are many compatable cartridges available, where chips are required they come with them.

I use an Epson last year I fitted a CISS and never looked back.( actually cheaper that a set of epson cartridges )

Even tho my R265 uses a special ink. ( only three of the range I belive use it ) I have no problem getting Ink.

Cartridges are available for most makes of printer on many sites listed on these forums

I use this one click here

Thanks for reply.
The same website I looked at also sold the full tanks without the chipped end.
You just bought the full tank [cartridge] and fitted the chipped end on to the full tank.
