In trying to sort out why my D & E drives won't read blank discs I sometimes get the error message "Rundll32 has caused an error in SET UPX.DLL - Rundll32 will now close" is this my problem or do I have another problem

Make sure you back up your registry before trying any fixes, as messing with the registry can cause more problems!

Alternatively wait for someone more knowlwedgeable than me comes along!

BTW, I found that page by googling "rundll32 error"!

Are you sure that shouldn't be setupdx.dll. If you are running 98se OS then you will have to re-install it from the Windows 98se Disc.
