Inaccessible websites

  Binoboy 09:24 07 Feb 2007

Over the weekend my PC has stopped being able to gain access to certain websites which no-one else seems to find are down (click here and click here) being two examples. None of the computers on my wireless home network can gain access to these sites which leaves me to believe it's not a problem with my PC (OS = Windows XP).

Can anyone give me an explanation why this is happening and, more importantly, a solution?

Thanks, as I say it just seems to be my network that can't access them.

Probably a cookie problem,Check your firewall Or Anti-Virus are not blocking them,Or double click on Privacy Report on taskbar,Make sure that they are not blocked on there,Try turning your Firewall off ,see if that helps,If not do the same with your Anti-Virus,If using Norton double check all your settings.

Had a similar problem recently. I am on NTL BB and i changed my Proxy settings and that cured the problem.
Why only some sites ?????
PS my advice might be no use at all, but !

When you say you can't access, what exactly happens - do you get an error of some sort?
