Impossible to install new Windows security Updates

Hi,

I am working on a PC Vista x86 and never had such a problem. For the last month now, I have not been able to install the following updates: (KB 968389, KB 956744, KB968816, KB970653, KB967723, KB970710, KB973540, KB948465).

Have also try to install them manually but it still does not work. I have SP1 on my PC. I have tried to install SP2 but it keeps telling me that I should have SP1 installed first. (which I have!).

Any help with this will be much appreciated.

By the way, do I really need those updates?

Thanks

I don't think Dial A Fix works on Vista.

How do I uninstall SP1 so I can try reinstalling SP1 then SP2 ?

Try this Repair tool for windows Vista update

Unzip it and run the CMD-file with additional administrator rights by right clicking it and choose

Run as administrator

After running this tool, make sure Windows Update is working properly now by manually

checking for updates.
