Hi i'm running windows xp home. I want a new desktop backround, when i pick one off images on the google home page, no matter what pixels it is, the pic looks blurred on my desktop. How do i make it look right?

it depends on the size of the image

if it is a low quality image then yes it will look blurred

The best size for desktop images is either 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 (depending on your resolution). Any images smaller are stretched so they look blurred. You can also set it to centre the image on the desktop or tile it, which means it will display in it's original size and won't blur.
