Image attachments not in body of e-mail

in O.E. how to prevent chosen images appearing in body of text when sent ONLY as an attachment.

I think you have to send email in 'Plain Text' not 'HTML'

If using Outlook Express,
select Options, then the Send tab, then click on HTML settings and ensure that the tick is removed from the box " Send pictures with messages"

suggestions by LOTVIC and NUTS did not resolve the problem! The image in the e-mail body is also very much bigger than the attachment image.

I have tried numerous ways to stop the image being sent in the text area - I don't think you can stop it. David

Unticking the box worked for me !!

PS..Also make sure that anyone sending pics to you has unticked the box before ending the email with attachments.
