IM Names virus in MSN Messenger

  Forza 06:20 12 Apr 2007

I have a younger sister who in her MSN Messenger has got some kind of virus called IM Names. When she opens a conversation box it automatically sends an instant message-like-ad to the receiver saying something like 'Get great names at'. I cannot get rid of it for her!

Any ideas please?

Hello there...which anti virus software are u using to scan the pc??? and do u mean that the one u have used is unable to remove the virus??

Hi, the PC is using AVG but doesnt pick it up. It's actually Spybot that picks it up but cannot seem to remove it. That obviously makes it spyware but since i have been told its also a virus??? Confused!
