illegal system DLL re-location

I have an Evesham laptop running Windows XP. When I switched on (for the second time) today this message appeared "RTHDCPL.EXE - illegal system DLL re-location. The system DLL user32.dll was re-located in memory. The application will not run properly. The re-location occurred because the DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\HHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL" I clicked OK and the laptop appears to be working without trouble. I have installed no new software apart from Windows updates. Do I need to worry about this? I'm not terribly clever when it comes to computers so I hope someone can give me a simple answer for a simple mind!
