Hi all

On starting the PC, Norton gives a warning of a Trojan "Ietbass.dll"

I'm using XP Pro SP2, Norton Internet security 2003

I have turned off system Restore, started in "Safe Mode" and tried to remove it using Ad-aware, Spybot S&D and CWS Shredder, but it still remains

Any thoughts on how to remove this gratefully received!

Thanks to you both for the replies, I've been trying them this morning.

a², Ad-aware and Spybot S&D all find and remove it, but on restarting it has returned.

CW Shredder recognises it as "Addclass" but when I run it to fix the problem, windows seems to restart, but not fully and again on restarting it's back.

I can delete the Addclass reference from the registry and all scans come up clean, but once again on restarting, it's still there!

Just to update

Ad-aware recognises it as "Rightfinder" and will delete it but it still returns on start up.

Thanks TERMINATOR, using the fist suggestion it found three problems, then deleting what Ad-aware had found I have a clean machine. I think I made the mistake of re-starting in between spy ware programs.

Perhaps I should have used a more logical approach in the first place!
