Being offered via Windows update....I have been using it with Windows 7 Beta, and have found few bugs....Might be best to wait until it comes down the update path.
thanks for the replies.
I have just tried it again (I tried it about a month ago) and again there were problems (IE has a problem and must close) I have reverted back to IE7 with IE7 Pro which I much prefer with no problems.
This is the Microsoft link I used to download IE8 (final version):click hereThe download link is on the top left hand side of the page.
My feedback ie7pro works ok on IE8 but I am finding IE8 a lot slower but a noticeable amount to open pages than IE7.I also use firefox and have noticed since install of IE8 that if I view a video clip on media player from firefox it will not close I have to use close program.I will stay with it in case it needs a few boot ups to settle down.
This can't possibly be the finished software. It has too many bugs and is painfully slow. Is it possible to roll back to IE7
Simply uninstall ie8, you will be left with 7
