IE7 keeps hanging on Vista

For the past 2-3 weeks IE7 keeps crashing every now and then sometimes 3 0r 4 times. Never had this problem until recently not sure if an update has caused this but would be interested if anyone else has had a similar problem I have written below the fault report should any one understand what it all means perhaps they could decipher it for me!

try running ie7 without add ons see if it makes a difference

How do I disable add on's and will they effect anything, I ask because I have also had problems with video on website's ie on the soccer am website if I watch any of the clips they start then stop load etc etc it can take 15 minutes to watch a 5 min clip!

goto - tools - internet options - adv tab - hit the reset button.

Thanks Sunnystains I have done this about a week ago I read a another thread which advised doing this but problem has returned! Any other ideas?

a scan with superantispyware & malawarebytes, free versions will do.

if that fails SFC /SCANNOW

did you update to flash player 10 because i had a problem with that and went back to flash player 9 also are you using the latest java version?

Hi smackhedz yes I think I did! and yes I think i updated to latest Java as well but both recently I have had this problem for about a month off and on.

do you use ccleaner? if not could be worth having a clean up click here

also if you close all programs and windows and open task manager does your system idle run at over 90%
