IE6 Problem

I have just sorted a computer withe the IE 6problem,shut down, syndrome
Then blow me, get back my machine - it does the same.
Sorted that.

Then I thought - Hey I use Firefox. Do I Need internet explorer anymore?
Can I dump it?
But then, 'Explorer' is the navivgating module of the O/S - the Internet is a bolt on bit- Am I right?
Can I dump IE?

click here but you cannot remove it from a Windows XP PC.

Hi Jack. You can use Firefox, it will pick up your settings from IE and you can set it as your default browser, but as VoG™ says, you can't remove IE.
